March 20, 2009

Just thought that I’d give you all a preview of some of the beers and ciders that will be getting reviewed over the next 8 to 10 weeks. Also, if you have suggestions or criteria that you consider important, please leave some feedback so it can be worked in.

I swear I’m not dead

February 10, 2009

I’ve been extremely busy with school as of late, and I’ve been in and out of funks.  I know that I need to get back to blogging, and I have somethings I’ve been meaning to mention, but unfortunately I just haven’t had the time to take care of it.  On the bright side, the weather is wonderfully warm.

Max London’s

January 3, 2009

For as long as I can remember, I used to want to go to Mrs. London’s in Saratoga, New York for dessert.  The amazing Nebula and delicious creme brulee’s were a treat that my young foodie eyes just couldn’t resist.   While I’ve learned to make my own creme brulee, some of their more unique creations still give me a twinge of desire.  Given Mrs. London’s reputation, I was curious to check out the cuisine that her husband Max would create at his restaurant Max London’s.

Far Faraway Downs in the Merry Old Land of Oz

December 18, 2008

Long, long ago, I watched two movies in the theater in the same day. Actually, it was two Fridays ago.  The point is that somehow in the being caught up in Twilight, I got swept away from reviewing Australia.  Given that it’s almost a month out from release at this point, I’d like to give people a chance to get a refresher.

Trailer and potential spoilers ahead
